Jewellery shop looted in broad daylight in Dhenkanal [WATCH]

Dhenkanal: A gang of five robbers broke into a jewellery shop near Muktapasi in the district here in broad daylight on Thursday and decamped with valuables.

The audacity of the robbers has left people shocked in the area as they targeted the shop during daytime.

The miscreants entered the shop and looted at gun point. They also thrashed two customers, identified as Prakash Behera of Sangamatangi village and Tapas Sahu of Kantioputsahi, critically injuring the duo.

Meanwhile, police rushed to the spot and detained two in connection with the loot. Investigation into the incident is on and the miscreants would be caught soon, said a police official.
