Jatni murder: senior cop's son arrested

Bhubanesar: The son of senior police officer Radhashyam Mohapatra, who is accused of murdering a chemist in Jatni, has been arrested by police.

The accused Biswajit Mohapatra had attacked chemist Sudhanshu Mishra with a machete in Taraboi village near Jatni of Khurda district on June 2.

A seriously injured Sudhansu died while being taken to hospital. Biswajit was absconding since the incident. He was arrested by Jatni police from Keonjhar last night.

Police is currently interrogating Biswajit to establish the motive behind the murder.
