Puri: A high level meeting will be held at the Sri Jagannath Temple Administraton (SJTA) office hereon Wednesday to discuss the repair of Jagmohan, the chamber facing the sanctum sanctorum of Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri, which has got delayed because of a tug of war between the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the temple administration.

According to sources, the meeting, which will be chaired by Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) chief administrator Suresh Mohapatra, will be attended by the members of 11 nijogs of the temple.

The meeting will chalk out how the rituals of the deities will be performed during the forthcoming visit of a Central team to the 12th century shrine, the sources added.

A team lead by Union Culture secretary will visit the temple to review the repair work of the Jagmohan on May 20.

During the visit, the members of the central team will meet Gajapati Dibya Singhadeb, members of core committee, NIT and IIT technical team and will discuss the repair plans.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has also visit the Jagannath Temple today to take stock of the repair work of the Jagmohan.
