Jagamohan repair: HC asks ASI, SJTA to file fresh affidavit

Cuttack: Expressing resentment over the inordinate delay in the ongoing repair work of Jagamohan of Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri, the Orissa High Court has directed the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) to submit latest report on the status of the repair work through fresh affidavit.

This apart, the court has asked the ASI Superintendent to appear in person before the court to keep his side on the matter.

The court will have the next hearing on this issue on November 17.
