Cuttack: Results of the annual Matriculation or Class 10 examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha will be declared on May 7.

BSE president, Jahanara Begum informed today that the board will announce the Matriculation results at 9 AM on May 7 at its central office in Cuttack in presence of School and Mass Education Minister, Badri Narayan Patra and Principal Secretary, PK Mohapatra.

“Results of the Madhyama Sanskrit 2018 examination and the State Open School Certificate Examination 2018 will also be announced on the same day,” stated Begum.

The results will be hosted on the board’s two websites - www.bseodisha.ac.in and www.bseodisha.nic.in - at 12 PM.

In places where there is no internet facility, students can get their results through SMS as well by sending message 'OR10<space>roll number' to 5676750, said sources.

The board has made arrangements to upload OMR answer sheets on 'www.bseodisha.ac.in' at 2 PM on May 7, stated Examination Controller, Nihar Ranjan Mohanty in a presser.

Besides, the board will set up a control room which will operate from the date of announcement of the results for seven days. Students and parents can call up the control room numbers - 0671-2412059 and 0671-2412060 - during office hours from 10 AM to 5 PM for any queries pertaining to the results, Mohanty added.

This year the Matriculation examination was surrounded by controversies with claims that questions papers of all the subjects got circulated on social media after the annual examination began on February 23.

However, the School and Mass Education Minister had refuted the allegations and termed it as an intentional attempt to disrupt the examination.
