Bhubaneswar: Vikash Lunayach of Gurgaon, who was arrested in connection with the ITER fake placement case, will be taken on a three-day remand today by Commissionerate Police.

According to Vikash, he had visited the State five times earlier and identifies himself as an MBA graduate, Police Commissioner YB Khurania told mediapersons yesterday.

He had acted as one of the key ‘coordinators’ between ITER and fake placement agencies, the Police Commissioner stated.

Vikash was brought on a transit remand by the Commissionerate Police after he was arrested on June 27 in Gurgaon.

After Vikash was nabbed, the number of arrests in the fake placement case rises to three. Earlier, Raj Kumar Hota and Manas Nayak were arrested last month in the case.
