IPL bookie nabbed in Sundargarh

Sundargarh: Police officials nabbed a bookie from Rajganpur of Sundargarh District on charges of betting and gambling on Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches.

As per sources, the alleged bookie has been identified as Ashok Agarawal. In a raid on his house, police sized cash approximately about Rs 41,000, seven mobile phones and documents related to gambling.

Ashok’s betting business was spread across in Rourkela, Rajganpur and Jharsuguda, reported sources.

Investigation into the matter is on, stated Police officials.
