Investors lodge complaint against chit fund company

Cuttack: A complaint was lodged against a chit fund company by some of its investors at Madhupatna police station in the city on Wednesday.

According to the complaint, chit fund company Mission India Parivar had opened its office in the city in 2010 and collected money from the people in the city and its nearby areas for the last six years with a promise to return double the amount they invest

Some investors had recently gone to the office to get back their returns after maturity of their investment. But the company officials sent them back on various pretexts.

Investors saw red after they found the company office locked on Wednesday and lodged a complaint with the Madhupatna police.
