Cuttack: After registering a thrilling three-wicket win against England in the first match of Paytm One Day International (ODI) series in Pune, Virat Kohli led India team is all set to lock horn with England at historical Barabati Stadium here on Thursday.

The match will begin at 1.30 pm.

Going with the brilliant form of Kohli and wicketkeeper-batsman Kedar Jadhav, India is aiming to clinch the three-match series by grabbing the second ODI too here today.

Kohli and wicketkeeper-batsman Kedar Jadhav smashed brilliant centuries to forge a 200-run fifth-wicket stand and helped the hosts chase down the stiff 351-run target with 11 balls to spare in the first match in Pune on Sunday.

On Wednesday afternoon, players of team India and England undertook a practice session at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack ahead of the second ODI match.

Meanwhile, the Commissionerate Police has kept the twin city in tight security cover keeping in mind the presence of Team India and Team England in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

In Bhubaneswar, 20-25 platoons of police force will be in charge of security of players whereas total 63 platoons of security personnel will be deployed at the Barabati Stadium during the ODI match.
