Rourkela: Brahmani Tarang police today busted a racket involved in illegal transportation of coal and seized four trucks with over 60 tonne coal. According to sources, the seized coal was from a sponge iron factory at Kalunga Industrial Estate in Rourkela.

Acting on a tip off, police had conducted a raid on the factory and managed to arrest three truck drivers, while one of them managed to flee.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the authorities of the factory. Police have also launched a probe to find out if any other factory is part of the racket and since how long it has been active.
