Bhubaneswar: Panic has gripped Mukunddaspur village of Balianta block on the outskirts Bhubaneswar after people found a hyena roaming in the area.

Forest department officials are in the area to drive away the hyena, but are yet to locate the animal..

According to sources, last Friday a dog was killed by an unidentified animal in the village. Another cow was also injured in a similar attack.

Villagers say the attacks could have been made by the hyena sighted in the area later.
