Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has decided to announce the results of the High School Certificate (HSC) Supplementary examination by the first of July.

The examination, which had began on June 2, concluded today.

Talking to OTV, BSE president Prof Dakshya Prasad Nanda said a total of 11,620 students had filled up forms online for the examination held at 45 centres in all district headquarters.

He said the Board staffs have already moved out of the headquarters office to collect the answer scripts from the examination centres for evaluation.

“We will conduct evaluation, which will be held at five centres, for three days beginning June 20. After the evaluation is over, we will send the marks online to the result processing firm. We will then collect the OMR sheets and send it to the firm. We are trying to announce the results at the earliest possible. We are trying to announce the results by first week of July. But we can tell the media about the exact date for announcement of results after the valuation is completed,” Nanda said.
