Cuttack/Bhubaneswar: Last date for students to fill-up forms for the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations, scheduled to begin from February 28, 2017 in Odisha, was extended today by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) till November 19.

Talking to newsmen the board’s exam controller Nihar Ranjan Mohanty said, “Students can fill-up forms for the HSC examination without fine till November 19. As per the earlier announcement, the last date was today.”

He further stated candidates can submit the form with fine till November 24 to be able to sit for the HSC examination.

The online form fill-up for the annual examination began from the first week of November.

The HSC examination would begin on February 8 and conclude on March 10. Besides, the annual Sanskrit Madhyama examination would be conducted simultaneously with the same schedule of the HSC examinations. About six lakh students will appear in the HSC examinations while about 4000-5000 students will appear in the annual Sanskrit Madhyama examination.
