Puri: A group of Hindu pilgrims from Sindh province in Pakistan are on a visit to pilgrim town Puri.

Nearly 94 pilgrims from the neighbouring country have arrived in India to attend the Sant Shada Ram anniversary to be observed in Raipur in Chhattisgarh. Today they landed in Puri and visited the various sites of Hinduism. Special arrangements for the stay of the pilgrims have been made at the Puri Govardhan Peeth.

“We had visited religious shrines at Haridwar and Varanasi and have now reached the holy town of Puri. We are feeling blessed to have darshan of several temples in the city,” said a devotee.

The devotees further informed that their religious expedition is always a unique one as they take back memories from India. It also encourages them to pass on the message of brotherhood, peace and love.

“We have no problem in practising our religion in Pakistan and we feel happy to be here in India,” said another devotee.
