CBSE Class 12 results fiasco: HC files contempt case against board official

Cuttack: The Orissa High Court today filed a suo motu contempt of court case against a high rank Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) official. The HC has also asked the board to submit answer sheets of 18 students.

The HC today filed a suo motu case against Joint Secretary (Academics) Manoj Srivastav of CBSE headquarters, New Delhi. The HC has directed him to reply by July 3.

Meanwhile, the Court has also asked the board to deposit answer sheets of the 18 students for whom re-evaluation was earlier conducted. The board has to submit the answer sheets by noon tomorrow.
