Hi-Tech Hospital ransacked by relatives after patient's death

Rourkela: Tension prevailed at the Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital here after some people ransacked the hospital alleging that the death of their patient was due to medical negligence.

The family and relatives of the deceased destroyed property of the hospital and demanded investigation into the incident.

As per reports, the patient of Birajapalli here was admitted to the hospital with cardiac problems. The family members of the deceased alleged that the doctors delayed his treatment due to payment issues which led to the death of the patient.

However, police personnel have been deployed at the hospital to avoid further disturbance.
