Cuttack: The Odisha High Court today will hear the bail plea of industrialist Mahima Mishra in connection with the murder of Seaways Shipping general manager and 2013 bomb blast at Press Chhak under Madhupatna police limits in Cuttack.

Senior Supreme Court lawyer KTS Tulsi will present the statement on behalf of the Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) chief. It may be mentioned here that chargesheet have been filed by police in both cases.

Mahima’s advocate had mentioned that since co-accused Bapi Sarkhel has been granted bail in the Seaways Shipping GM murder case, the OSL chief should also be given bail. On the other hand, the public prosecutor had objected to Mahima's bail plea citing that he might influence eyewitnesses after getting bail from the court.
