Cuttack; The Orissa High Court today constituted a 1-member committee to supervise the repair work of the Jagmohan, the chamber facing the sanctum sanctorum of the Puri Jagannath Temple.

Retired senior engineer, NK Mohanty has been appointed as the member of the committee which will review the Jagmohan repair work on November 26.

The court directed the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) and the district administration to make adequate arrangements for the review.

The committee will submit its review report in a sealed envelope.

The committee will check whether work has been done as mentioned by ASI in its progress report submitted to the court through an affidavit recently.

The court also directed the committee not to brief the media about its report and divulge any details.

On the other hand, ASI has submitted another up-to-date progress report.

The next hearing of the case is scheduled on December 7.
