Harassment case against police: Woman, 2 kids go missing in Pattamundai

Pattamundai: The woman who had brought sexual harassment allegation last month against the Inspector-In-Charge (IIC) of Pattamundai police station is missing along with her two daughters since last three days.

Family members of the woman have lodged a complaint alleging they have been kidnapped by the concerned IIC Ramesh Chandramukhi.

Earlier in June, the woman had approached Kendrapara SP alleging Chandramukhi had passed indecent remarks and assaulted her inside the police station on May 20 when she went to file a complaint on a family dispute.

Based on her complaint SP Dayanidhi Gochhayat had directed DSP SN Das to investigate into the case.
