Gupchup trader detained in Jajpur Rd for suspected ISIS links

Jajpur: A gupchup trader running his business in Jajpur Road was detained by the district police today on charges of trading in fake currency and suspected links with global terrorist organisation ISIS.

The gupchup trader, identified as Amarjit Sahani, is a resident of Pabara village under Debu Sarai district of Bihar state. The Jajpur district intelligence police detained Sahani after keeping tabs on him for the past few days on the basis of inputs from the Bihar Police.

Sahani was declared an absconder in Bihar and had been running the gupchup business in Jajpur Road for the past four years.

Sources said a team of Bihar Police is on its way to Jajpur Road to take custody of Sahani.
