Goods train engine derails in Koraput

Koraput: The engine of a goods train derailed at Dayanidhiguda railway station between Jeypore and Koraput last night.

As per sources, the train which was on its way to Visakhapatnam derailed minutes after leaving the Jeypore railway station. Train services were affected on the route following the derailment.

Sources said, the train services on the route were restored on Monday after the restoration works were undertaken on a war footing following the derailment.
