Girls deserve to live their dreams: Femina Miss India Orissa 2018 Shrutiksha Nayak

Bhubaneswar: Odia girls are very beautiful and they deserve to live their dreams, said Shrutiksha Nayak, who was recently crowned the Femina Miss India Orissa 2018.

Shrutiksha will represent from the east zone at the grand finale of the country's prestigious  beauty pageant competition.

"If I win the pageant then I will set up grooming classes and train other beautiful girls to compete and participate in the contest, " said Shrutiksha after arriving in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

Asked how would she encourage others, Shrutiksha said that parents should be bold enough to let their daughters chase their dreams without fear.

"I request parents to let their daughters think and dream big. They should let them build careers out of their comfort zone," she said.

Shrutiksha, who is a dancer and a fitness model, is pursuing a degree in Mass Communication from KIIT University.

She has now become one of the 30 finalists constants to complete for the grand finale of FBB Femina Miss India contest scheduled to be held in June. She was mentored by actor and 2009 Femina Miss India Pooja Chopra.

After becoming a finalist Shrutiksha has now set her sights on grooming herself in best possible way for the grand finale.

"The grand finale of the beauty pageant is very tough so I will have to work really hard.  I will have to work on my body fitness , groom myself on general knowledge, body language and learn interactive sessions. Since I have two months, I hope polish myself in these aspects," she said.

The  newly crowned beauty stated that  her preparations were not upto the mark. Howevers, due to the blessings of parents and a bit of talent in me, I was selected as Miss Odisha out of three contestants, which is a big achievement.

I dedicate my success to my parents, people of Odisha and my fans who have voted for me," Shrutiksha said.

On being asked whether she would prefer to work in Ollywood, Shrutiksha said, "Today, I have lots of offers from the Odia film industry but since I am not interested so I have said no. But if I get offers from Bollywood, then I might consider after consulting my parents."
