Chandikhol: The Badchana police of Jajpur district today filed chargesheet against two officials of the Regional Transport Office (RTO) at Chandikhole in connection with the issuance of registration certificates for ghost (nonexistent) vehicles.

The two, former junior Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) Ashok Sinha and and steno of the Chandikhole RTO Braja Mishra were by the police in May this year.

Notably, the Junior MVIs of Keonjhar and Chandikhol and a steno of the Chandikhole RTO were arrested for being involved in the racket of issuing registration numbers to non-existent (ghost) vehicles.
