Ganjam youth eyes Guinness record with most lit candles, grapes in mouth

Ganjam: Vying to break into Guinness World Records, Manoj Kumar Moharana of Ganjam stuffed 21 lit candles into his mouth at a time.

Manoj, a youth from Bhabarada village of Polsara block in the district, performed the daring stunt before the sub-collector and as is the norm for Guinness World Records, he has sent the video and all other necessary documents of this act for the perusal of the record.

The record freak also tried to create the world record for stuffing the most number of grapes into the mouth by stuffing 90 grapes at a time.

“Recent Guinness Record for most lit candles in the mouth is held by Dinesh Upadhyaya of Uttar Pradesh. He also holds the record, 88 numbers of grapes in his mouth. After two years of practice I tried to break their record,” Manoj told mediapersons.

Earlier, Manoj had tried to create records in some unique ways when he attempted to write the smallest poem and stuffed 400 straws into his mouth.
