Bhubaneswar/Cuttack/Puri: The Ganesh Puja was celebrated with reverence and fervour across the State today.

In the capital city, people irrespective of age and gender thronged to the puja pandals and pay obeisance to Lord Ganesha.

The puja pandal organised by the Saheed Nagar Winners’ Association was an attractive one with a 35-ft wide and 25-ft height idol of Ganesha. The decoration at the pandal was done in line with the Ganesh Park in Thailand.

Similarly, visually impaired students of Bhim Bhoi School in Bhubaneswar celebrated the Ganesh Puja amid cymbals clanking.

Cuttack is known for decorations of pandals and variety of idols during the Ganesh Puja.
Raja Bazaar, Golei Market, Station Chhak, Sitaram Chhak and Medical Chhak were well illuminated and decorated with pandals.
