Fresh complaint filed against Suraj Enterprises for forgery

Bhawanipatna: A new complaint has been filed against Suraj Enterprises at the Bargarh Town police station for allegedly producing false Term Deposit Receipt (TDR) to acquire work order.

The executive engineer of Works Department Bargarh unit has lodged an FIR against Bunty Kumar Agarwal, son of Suraj Enterprises’ proprietor, alleging that the contractor has acquired work order by producing 15 false TDRs worth Rs 2.95 crores.

Earlier on October 8, the Works Department Kalahandi unit had filed a complaint against the company’s proprietor Rajendra Prasad Agarwal and his son Bunty Agarwal at the Bhawanipatna Town police station for providing 48 TDRs to win tenders on different occasions.

“Bargarh R&D executive engineer filed a complaint alleging that contractor Bunty Agarwal of Bhawanipatna had acquired work order by producing false TDR worth Rs 2.95 crore. A case has been registered at Baragarh Town Police station under sections 465,467,468,471,420 of the IPC. Investigation is on into the matter," said Bargarh IIC.
