Four kids drown in Kolab Reservoir while bathing

Koraput: A pall of gloom descended on Lamtaput area of Koraput district after four kids including two siblings died while taking bath in Kolab Reservoir here on Monday.

The children, all in the age group below nine years, are residents of Parjakhudbi village here, informed Lamtaput Medical Officer Manas Dhal.

The bodies were fished out and sent for post mortem while investigation is on into the incident, Dhal said, suspecting that the incident might have happened while the children were taking bath at the reservoir.

The deceased children have been identified as siblings Susant Bhoi and Laxmi Bhoi, Sanjay Bhoi and Sabita Bhoi.
