Bhubaneswar: The Badagada police arrested four persons and forwarded them to court for allegedly selling a plot by producing fake documents.

The four accused were Arun Kumar Sahu of Palla village of Khurdha district, Ashok Mishra of Kabisuryanagar in Ganjam district, Dipak Singh of Nayapalli IRC Village here and Dillip Debarta of Gandhinagar in Rayagada district.

It is alleged that the four have sold a 55 decimal land at Dasabatia under Tamando police station near here at a cost of Rs 14.40 lakh to one Satyaban Sahu of Rankadeuli village under Saranakula police station in Nayagarh district in July.

Satyaban came to know the truth when he was erecting a boundary line on the plot and the actual proprietor of the land came and opposed him.
