Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha DGP Sanjeev Marik formally began his innings in the political battlefield after filing his nomination for the Godda Assembly constituency in Jharkhand. Marik filed his nomination on the last day.
Jharkhand’s former ministers Stephen Marandi and Haji Hussain were present with Marik during his nomination filing.
After filing his nomination papers, Marik addressed a gathering and criticized the BJP government in Jharkhand.
“There are no signs of development in Godda. I feel the time has come unmask the people who have been playing and betraying the people of Godda,” said Marik.
