“We were going to Delhi today to participate in a Chess championship but the flight got cancelled. We will miss the inaugural function but we have to reach the national capital at least by night today to participate in the event,” said Odisha’s internationally acclaimed chess player Padmini Rout.

“We have booked tickets for the next flight which were quite expensive,” added Padmini.
