Cuttack: As many as five students of Ravenshaw University have been disqualified for not submitting College Leaving Certificate (CLC) during admission, varsity Vice Chancellor Professor Ishan Patra informed on Wednesday.

All the five students belong to 2nd year of MBA department of the varsity.

As per sources, around 20 students of the MBA department of the varsity had taken admission in 2016-17 academic year without submitting their CLCs. They had submitted undertakings during the admission to furnish the necessary document afterwards. While some of them had deposited their documents, others did not submit the papers in time.

Earlier this month, the VC had set up a three-member committee to probe the matter and take stringent action against the students for violating the admission norms.
