Five held in Puri for murder attempt on Kolkata businessman

Puri: Five persons accused of attempted murder in Kolkata were nabbed from a hotel at Marine Drive Road in Baliapanda of Puri on Saturday.

The accused were absconding since August 22 after an attempted murder of Ahmed Pervez, an established businessman in Kolkata. Beniapukar station police from Kolkata in West Bengal traced them to Puri and arrested them with help of local police.

The arrested persons are Faizal Hak, Murak Hak, Mohammed Armaan, Azad Alam and Sheikh Shahenshah.

They will be taken back to Kolkata after being produced at Puri court.
