Fitment panel prepares modalities for 7th Pay Commission recommendations

Bhubaneswar: The Fitment Committee constituted for implementation of the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission today convened a meeting at the State Secretariat and prepared the modalities.

Along with the chairman of the committee, senior administrative officers were present in the meeting.

According to sources, the panel discussed how to implement the demands of various employees’ associations before the State government.

The modalities pertaining to grade pay, pay scale, various categories of salaries and allowances were prepared by the panel today and a report in this regard will be submitted to the government soon, informed sources.
