FIR against Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Shooting in ‘no camera zone’ inside Lingaraj Temple premises has spelled trouble for Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon as the temple administration has lodged an FIR against her.

The Lingaraj temple administration lodged a complaint with Commissionerate Police today.

“The temple administration was not aware of the incident. Today, we have lodged a written complaint against the actress for shooting an advertisement for promoting some cosmetics item,” said Administrative Officer, Lingaraj Temple Office, Rajiv Lochan Parida.

Parida further informed that the temple has urged Commissionerate Police to take appropriate action after a detailed probe.

Earlier, the matter came to light after a clip of the shoot recorded on a mobile camera inside the restricted zone of the shrine was uploaded on social media by the advertising agency.

In the viral clip, Raveena was seen offering some beauty tips which later sparked a controversy with several outfits as well as servitors opposing such act as mobile phone and other electronic gadgets are banned inside the temple.
