Cuttack: While the mystery surrounding the deaths of sheep in Odisha continues, four more sheep were killed late last night in Kurangapradhan village in the district.

The sheep carcass were found at the cattle shed of a villager in the morning today with three other sheep being critically injured in the attack.

More than 1000 sheep have been reportedly killed so far in the mysterious animals' attack in the last couple of months. On Thursday, 12 sheep were killed in Raipatna village under Alipingal panchayat in the district on Wednesday.

The State government has already announced to award compensation to the sheep owners but people are threatening to resort to demonstration if the mysterious animals are not caught soon.
