Cuttack: The Vigilance sleuths on Saturday raided the residence of Mohana Rural Construction division’s Executive Engineer Shiris Sahu at CDA Sector-10 in Cuttack following a seizure of Rs 1 lakh cash from his car at Bhejiputa toll-gate.

Several incriminating documents were seized during the search operation at the house of the executive engineer, sources added.

A 15-member team led by Paralakhemundi Vigilance DSP searched Sahu’s CDA house as well as his Mohana office simultaneously on charges of amassing disproportionate assets.

The Vigilance has valued the Cuttack residence of Sahu alone at Rs 1 crore, the sources added.
