Bhubaneswar: Every individual in society should fight against child sexual harassment and abuse said Nobel Peace Prize winner and child rights activist Kailash Satyarthi, who was in Bhubaneswar today as part of his 'Bharat Yatra' campaign against child sexual abuse and trafficking.

Immediate eradication of this social evil is a must, he added.

Satyarthi emphasised that the parliament should pass the human trafficking bill and that there is need to set up fast-track courts for speedy trial of cases relating to child sexual abuse and exploitation.

'Bharat Yatra', flagged off from Kanyakumari on September 11, under the leadership of Satyarthi, will cover 11,000 kilometres across 22 States. The yatra will culminate on October 16 in New Delhi.

On this occasion today, a special programme was organised in Bhubaneswar with school students taking out a rally to welcome Satyarthi.
