Bhubaneswar: The State Government has set up 60 valuation centres for the evaluation of matriculation examination papers that will start from tomorrow. Papers will be evaluated by 14, 077 examiners in these centres.

According to sources, the evaluation process will start from 10 am and continue till four in the afternoon. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has set a target to complete the process within 10 days.

Chief Examiner, Deputy Chief Examiner and Assistant Examiner joined the valuation centres today.

It may be mentioned that the matriculation examination this year was conducted from February 28 to March 10. More than 6.8 lakh students had appeared the examinations.

Talking to media persons, Headmistress of Bharati Bidyapitha in Ganjam district, Bijaylaxmi Behera said, "There are two units for each subject, so we have prepared 12 rooms for evaluation. One Chief Examiner, three Deputy Chief Examiners and 15 Assistant Examiners will remain in each unit and all will join today. The marks will be posted online."
