Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has now turned the heat on the financial transactions of notorious gangster siblings- Sushil and Sushant Dhalsamant, who are now cooling their heels at two different jails in the State since their arrest last year.
Three special teams of ED conducted simultaneous searches at house of the gangster brothers and offices of Tantiya Constructions both in Cuttack and Kolkata today.
The raids were part of the ongoing investigation taken up by the ED on the money trail and sources of wealth of the gangster duo who are suspected to have amassed assets to the tune of nearly Rs 100 crores, sources said.

The raids come barely a week after the sleuths of the ED had grilled some of the duo’s associates including a few businessmen on March 1. Five businessmen including scrap dealer Bhola Bhagat were quizzed regarding their links as well as other financial dealings with the Dhalsamant brothers.
Notably, a special team of Commissionerate police had arrested the Dhalsamant brothers from their hideout at Bhubaneswar on January 28, 2016. Later, the cops have seized a huge cache of arms including a sophisticated carbine and weapons from their possession.
