ED quizzes 3 Sarathi aides on financial, land deals

Bhubaneswar: Three aides of arrested self-styled godman Sarathi Baba alias Santosh Raul were questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Friday.

While contractor Pradeep Sahu was quizzed on illegal transactions of Satyam Charitable Trust as well as its land deals, two staff of the ashram of Sarathi – Saroj Rout and Bichitra - were interrogated about financial activities of the self-styled godman, said sources.

Yesterday, Satyam, the foster son of Sarathi, was interrogated by the ED officials for five hours at the agency’s office here.
