Drunken woman tourist suspected to be Uzbekistan citizen

Bhubaneswar: Following the arrest of the drunken woman tourist who abused police in the city, her flat at Patia has been sealed while its caretaker has been arrested today. Police suspects the woman in an Uzbekistan national.

According to police sources, the caretaker, allegedly a pimp, knows the person who has brought the woman to Bhubaneswar.

Police is trying to contact the Embassy office to find more details about the woman.

The woman had been arrested by Kharvel Nagar police on Monday for misbehaving and attacking police personnel in an inebriated state near the city railway station on Sunday.

During police interrogation she was found to possess an Aadhaar Card bearing name Duniya Khan from Lajpat Nagar, South Delhi. Some cash, a bottle of liquor and an expensive mobile phone had been recovered from her possession.
