Dreaded criminal Seikh Miraj arrested

Cuttack: Dreaded criminal Seikh Miraj Ali was arrested by police from his Sutahata house yesterday night.

According to sources, a 9mm pistol and 2 rounds of ammunition have been seized from his possession.

While recently Miraj was involved in blank firing at Dargah Bazaar on November 12 night, several cases are pending against him at various police stations of Cuttack.

“A veteran criminal Seikh Miraj Ali has been arrested by police. We have seized a 9 mm pistol from him along with 2 rounds of ammunition. We had a complaint against him recently for blank firing and making threats, based on which we have arrested him,” said Cuttack DCP, Sanjeev Arora.
