DPS, Damanjodi students back teachers accused of sexual harassment

Damanjodi: In a surprising turn of events, students of Damanjodi Delhi Public School (DPS) have come out in support of the teachers, who have been charged with sexual harassment of girl students.

Students of the school have launched a dharna and demanded the transfer of the school principal.

Notably, separate police complaints were filed by the Principal DPS, Damanjodi, and the District Child Protection Officer (DCPO), Koraput against seven teachers of the school on charges of sexual harassment of girl students.

The DCPO lodged the FIR at the Damanjodi police station on Friday night on the basis of written complaints made by the girl students when she met them at the school the other day.
