Denied landing on govt land, MP Jay Panda parks chopper on private patch

Bhograi: The helicopter of Kendrapara MP Baijayant 'Jay' Panda landed in a patch of private land after he was denied permission to land on a government land at Palusia Village in Bhograi block of Balasore district. Panda was invited to grace the valedictory function of a cricket tournament.

Since the parliamentarian was not given permission to land his chopper on government land, he had to land on a patch of private land.

Reacting to the incident, Jay Panda said "The Odisha government cannot restrict my movement just because I have told the bitter truth. I will go wherever I want."
