D-link: HC denies extension of interim bail to farmhouse owner

Cuttack: The Orissa High Court today rejected the petition of Nirmal Rout, a close aide of gangster siblings Sushant and Sushil Dhalasamant, seeking extension of his interim bail, which ended today.

The court had granted interim bail to Rout on on July 13 on health grounds against a bail bond of Rs 30,000 and two sureties. The bail was granted to him for undergoing treatment.

Rout is the owner of the farmhouse at Khuntakata near Athagarh, where the gangsters' former associates Dipu and Omm were murdered. He is a co accused in the murder case.
