D-brothers case: Admin scraps lease of 5 Balighats

Cuttack: The Cuttack district administration on Monday scrapped five Balighats which were running illegally on the outskirts of the city.

As informed by the collector Nirmal Chandra Mishra, of the five Balighats, one is in the name of Saroj Dhalasamant, father of the criminal siblings Sushil and Susant Dhalasamant while the other are in the name of the associates of the Dhalasamant brothers.

“We are investigating into the running of these Balighats which were closed down by the police earlier. Action will be taken against any government employee if found involved in the case,” he said.
