“Cotton kurti with straight cut pant and patiala are the first choice of women at workplace. A simple cotton saree or linen nighties are usually suggested for the housewives with a blend of backless or sleeveless blouses,” said Rosalin Das.

Rozalin feels, challenge is to design special bridal wear for summer weddings as it's too difficult for brides to carry a 'whole body work heavy lehenga'

“We have come up with light weight fabric lehenga with smooth lightening and attractive colours, heavy border work and embroidery,” Rozalin added.

Though experts say it is always better to go for loose outfits, one can also re-invent clothes to make them look different.

According to Rozalin, western wears including haute pants, short skirts, haulter neck tops, up shoulder and backless frocks and tops with special floral and other work on bright colours go well for parties.

A homemaker-turned-fashion designer, Neji is also bubbling with ideas and puts to practice the easy to wear stuff that matches the season and choice. Through a wide range of clothing, from cotton shirts and khakhis for men and maxi dresses for casual outing for women, Neji is a one stop solution for all your fashion needs.

The fashion designer from Cuttack also designs for kids this summer.

“Though a lot of trendy tops are available, girls are reluctant as they are very casual and can’t be worn at workplace. Hence, girls should always go for salwars or long skirts with floral designs,” suggests Neji.

* A long skirt or dress can easily be made into a mini-skirt while pants can also be turned into shorts.

* Boys can convert their long blazers into cute cropped jackets to wear over formal shirts.

* Simple flowy skirts, casual blouse are breathable, airy and give a trendy look for girls.

* A loose and flowing maxi dress can give you a cooler look than a pair of shorts and a skintight tank.

* It is also advisable to use modern accessories - from bold belts, bags to some jewelry to give that extra zing to the personality.
