Cuttack girl slaps molester in public

Cuttack: In a show of sheer courage, a girl from Cuttack city bravely confronted her molester and slapped him in front of the gathered public for touching her inappropriately.

The incident which was captured in an onlooker’s cell phone occurred last evening at the busy Badambadi area of the city. The accused molester was slapped and beaten up with slippers by the girl along with a thorough dressing down.

What is being understood from the video, the girl was from the Cuttack city and was touched inappropriately following which she apprehended the accused to teach him a lesson. Though a large gathering was present at the spot, surprisingly no one interfered, while some were busy shooting the whole incident on their mobile phones.

“Wherever such incidents are happening, the public should definitely protest and take action. I hope that in coming days, if such incidents happen then our citizens and public will come forward to apprehend the culprits and hand them over to police,” said Cuttack-Barabati MLA, Debasis Samantray.

However, after the video went viral, Police have registered a case suo motu and arrested the accused youth.
