Couple found hanging from tree

Bargarh : In an apparent suicide pact, a couple including a married woman, ended their lives by allegedly hanging themselves from a tree in Grinjal village under Sohela tehsil of Bargarh district today.

The youth, identified as Ganesh Seth (20) was a tractor driver by profession. The woman - resident of nearby Meherpada village was mother of two children- a four-year-old son and a two –year-old daughter.

Sources said that Ganesh had developed a love affair with the married woman and the duo had eloped on Saturday. Family members of the woman had lodged a missing complaint at Sohela police station.

However body of the duo was found hanging from a tree, about two kilometres from the village today. The couple committed suicide with the saree that the woman wore. Body of the duo has been sent for post-mortem.
