Bhubaneswar: More skeletons in the Chhatrapur councillor Laxmidutta Pradhan's murder case are likely to tumble out as the SDJM court has granted a 7-day police remand of the two key conspirators- Krushna Chandra Nayak and Duryodhan Reddy.

Krushna and Duryodhan were nabbed by a special team of Ganjam police from Uttarakhand and were produced before court yesterday.

The SDJM court has allowed seven day physical remand of both the key accused in connection with the murder case starting October 31.

Senior officials of Ganjam police are hopeful to elicit more information about the murder of Laxmidutta Pradhan during interrogation of both the accused and their political link.

Earlier, Chhatrapur councillor from ward no 6 Laxmidutta Pradhan was brutally hacked to death in front of his residence on September 16.

So far, 15 accused involved in the case have been nabbed basing on CCTV camera footage by police.
